Tanqueray's Story

Tanqueray came to us after ending up at LMAS with a broken leg that required immediate surgery. She was in urgent need of medical care, and it was clear that she needed a rescue willing to step up and provide the help she deserved. At first, it seemed like there was hope—she was pulled from the shelter, and support started coming in. However, what initially felt like good news quickly turned into a heartbreaking situation. The rescue that had taken her in unexpectedly scheduled her for euthanasia, despite having collected over $1,000 in donations, simply because she did not like cats.

This shocking and devastating decision could have ended Tanqueray’s life, but we were able to step in just in time to get her to safety. Since joining our care, Tanqueray has shown nothing but resilience, strength, and a loving spirit. She has amazed us every day with her courage and determination, proving just how deserving she is of a second chance.

Tanqueray’s journey is a powerful reminder that every animal deserves compassion, proper care, and the opportunity to thrive in a loving home. We are so grateful to have been able to give her that chance—and we know her best days are still ahead.
